Mealime Is Closing: Keep Your Meal-Planning Routine

Check the official transition, recipe references and your next week of meals before choosing a new planning setup.

Mealime says its app will close on October 21, 2026, and directs users to Meals Hub. If you depend on Mealime for dinner decisions, start by checking that official option, then make a small plan for the meals you need next week. You do not need to rebuild your entire cooking routine in one evening. Mealime's closing notice

This guide separates three jobs: keeping useful recipe references, arranging the next few meals, and deciding which support you actually need. Glow's weekly menu worksheet can help with the second job. It does not import your Mealime account or replace a recipe library. Optional Glow AI-coach support is paid and serves a different purpose.

Check the official next step first

Mealime says its recipes will remain available through Meals Hub on Albertsons Companies websites and apps. Its FAQ says meal planning can be used even without shopping at one of those stores. It also says some preferences and settings need to be established within Meals Hub. Read the current notice and try your own access before assuming a saved account or configuration will carry over. Official transition FAQ

Those are the provider's statements, not a test of access in every country or household. If a location screen or another step prevents you from continuing, record where you get stuck. Do not build next week's shopping around an experience you have not yet opened successfully.

Keep a short list of the meals you actually use

Start with the dishes you return to, rather than every recipe you have ever saved. For each, record its name, where you can currently find it, and your own notes about how it fits your week. Keep the recipe's ingredients and instructions distinct from personal planning notes such as who cooks or which evening works.

Use this original planning table on paper or in your own document:

MealRecipe referenceNext check
A familiar work lunchTitle and sourceCan you still open it?
A household dinnerTitle and sourceWhich ingredients and equipment do you need?
A fallback mealYour own instructions or chosen recipeWhat do you already have?

The rows are fictional prompts, not recommended recipes. Fill them with meals you know and choices that fit any dietary advice you follow. A title alone will not preserve ingredient amounts or cooking instructions; check that your reference includes the information you need before relying on it.

Mealime's support article describes printing an individual recipe from its web app: sign in, open a recipe and look for the printer icon below the instructions. The article was last updated in February 2018. We have verified that the documentation remains available, but have not tested this signed-in action on a current account. Mealime: How to print a recipe

If the option is available to you, test one recipe first and inspect the result. Check the title, amounts, instructions and any notes you need. Do not assume that an individual print function transfers a whole collection, saved preferences or meal history to another service. Nor should you assume that a link will keep working indefinitely.

If the documented control is absent, keep the open question visible in your checklist. This guide does not provide a verified bulk export or import procedure. Avoid spending an afternoon building a new system around an untested transfer claim.

Make the next week workable before moving everything

Choose a few familiar meals and assign them to days that match your schedule. Identify the evening that usually becomes difficult, and put a realistic fallback beside it. A new planning service can be evaluated while this small arrangement keeps the immediate decision manageable.

For a fictional household, the first transition week might look like this:

  • Monday: a familiar dinner, with one person responsible for checking ingredients.
  • Tuesday: a meal already chosen from a recipe the household can still open.
  • Wednesday: the simpler fallback because everyone arrives home at different times.
  • Later in the week: another familiar option, with preparation and storage checked for the actual food.

This is a planning example, not a nutritionally analyzed menu. Use the editable weekly menu if you want to organize choices. Use the budget worksheet to check actual purchases, and the meal-prep run sheet to arrange the work after you choose the food. None retrieves an old account or verifies a therapeutic diet.

Test a replacement against your own routine

A feature list can look complete while missing the one action you repeat every week. Before committing to a new arrangement, walk through one real meal from selection to shopping to cooking. Use the following original checklist to identify the fit you need:

Your essential jobA concrete testEvidence to keep
Find meals you want to cookLocate one familiar, suitable dishCan you find the complete instructions?
Plan for your householdSet the number of meals and portions you needWhich values can you review or change?
Shop from your chosen planCompare its list with the selected recipes and what you ownWhat must you correct manually?
Use the plan where you cookOpen the instructions on your usual deviceAre they usable in that setting?
Keep a practical fallbackRecord what you will use if access failsCan you reach that reference separately?

These are evaluation questions, not claims that a particular app passes. You may find that a recipe source, a simple written menu and a shopping list already cover your immediate needs. Or a dedicated meal-planning service may better match your workflow. Assess the actual task before paying for features you will not use.

Where Glow fits

If your missing piece is conversation about following through with everyday eating plans, Glow offers AI voice and text, food photos and calls when needed. The app is paid and separate from Endo Health's GLP-1 clinical program. Read the factual Glow walkthrough to decide whether that kind of support fits.

If your priority is a transferred Mealime collection, automatic grocery integration or the same recipe catalog, this guide does not establish Glow as that replacement. The useful next action is to verify the specific service or reference you need, while keeping your next meals manageable.
